digital ammeter?
i have a three phase motor load at 3.8Amp at full load current. If i install a digital AC ammeter which can take current up to 5 Amp to monitor the motor current, does the starting current of this motor using DOL will damage my ammeter?
If it will damage the ammeter, what can i do to solve this problem?
No. The inrush current will not damage your ammeter. Ammeters are very sturdy, particularly digital ones.
