How to upgrade to a more residential main electrical box.?
(My electrical experience: I installed a sub panel and branch circuits several in my house by a cable 15 hp 3phase motor and capacitor panel for a rotary phase converter. He also took the required courses in the engineering school including analysis of electric circuits, electric motors and operational amplifiers.) The main panel is getting full, so I'd like to remove and replaced by a larger panel. Sounds simple. Anyone have tips or a website with instructions? I guess you'll have to close the main power cables first.
City permit building up the department. Authorization from the electric company - that would be your first stop because may not be willing to give you more energy. Honestly the best thing would be to call an electrical contractor and get a price - the process is not really a straight forward as you think.
