Are you looking for pure tube tone sound in an amplifier that is easily transportable and looks really cool? Then the Fender Champion 600 Electric Guitar Amplifier might just be the one for you. The Champion 600 features 5 watts of power which doesn't sound like much. But because it's a tube amp you get a lot more volume than you would think! It's perfect for small gigs and great for larger halls when you run it through a PA system.

Keep in mind this is a tube amp that is modeled after older fender amps so if you're looking for something to play heavy metal it's probably not the one for you. These are very great little amps. They have an excellent tone (I know from experience) and the reviews on Amazon.com will tell you the exact same thing. While there are only 5 user reviews listed, they all have great things to say about the Fender Champion 600 Electric Guitar Amplifier.

The first thing everyone mentions about this amp is the sound. This little amp sounds absolutely awesome. Every guitar player knows that tubes do a lot to give you that warm, well rounded sound that we're all looking for and the Fender really delivers in this area.
Don't be fooled by other amps that have ‘trans-tube' or ‘hybrid-tube' technology, these are all just tube preamps and you still end up with a transistor doing the main part of the driving in the power-amp section.

The second thing that everyone loves about this little amp is obviously the price! To get a pure tube amp for under $200 is simply an awesome deal no matter how you slice it. Add to the fact that it's a fender and you've really got something.

This is a practice amp and you should keep that in mind when purchasing. However, there is a great deal of volume available and because it's a tube amp the more you turn it up the better it sounds (to a point obviously!)
