Portable and Shock-Resistant CATV Analyzer
Toronto, Canada – GAO Comm (www.GAOComm.com)has announced the availability of a portable CATV analyzer which is suitable for digital and analog mixed network testing and two-way network construction and transformation. It is specially designed for troubleshooting network problems and monitoring potential network security attacks. The rugged analyzer is equipped with a high-contrast, backlit LCD screen and incorporates a high interference immunity design to ensure that TV images are displayed at the best graphic quality.
This handheld CATV analyzer, model 783A, tests analog TV indexes, digital TV QAM modulation channel power, and MER and BER modulation using special circuitry. It offers both auto measurement and a slope measurement modes. This practical analyzer automatically obtains parameters including total number of channels, channel type (analog or digital), and channel spectrum in its auto-measurement mode. It can be easily connected to a computer or printer to save or print test data via data cable. In addition, this shock-resistant analyzer offers protection against harsh environments and works continuously for more than 16 hours on a single charge.
