Whats the best gear oil and weight used for newly installed L.S.D. Differentials. (TRAC LOCK)?
I have a 98 Jeep Wrangler TJ, with Dana 35. i have a 3.07gr in it now with a standard Differential with 31" BFG Mud Terrains, and was looking to go 33" to the max of 35" after i get the axles i need for strength to hold the 35", I have just purchased a 4.56 LSD Assembly (ring pinion carrier and over haul kit), i have done Differential change outs about 4 times in my life on 3 jeeps and i have all the tools needed including the pinion depth gauges, calipers, inch pound gauge torque stick Etc.
My main question(s) are... : What weight oil should i use along with the LSD additive to get the best performance and where's the best place's besides online to get the LSD additive? AND WOULD THE LUCUS GEAR OIL ADDITIVE WORK IN IT AS WELL?
