horn button wiring .?
i am installing a secondary horn on my car. and i want to hide the horn button. but its such a big button. do i have to use the automotive grade button? or can i grab a small switch from radio shack that can be easilly hidden?
i have the horn wired into a relay so that the lead to the button comes off the relay and into one end of the switch, then the other end of the switch goes to ground
Depends on how it is wired. The switch you have may handle all of the current from the horn. If you wire it so that the smaller swith controls a relay and the relay controls the horn then it can be pretty small.
