When boiling water, should I worry about the steam making marks on the ceiling and cabinets?
The steam flows right up against the cabinets and up to the ceiling, im afraid the cabinets will swell up over time from the steam, or that it will leave a mark on the ceiling above the stove.
I have a fan on the stove, but its annoying using it every time i boil water and cook pasta, since its so loud.
I wouldn't worry about the steam on your cabinets they have a factory finish unless it's raw wood then it might take it some of the steam but not likely. same goes for the ceiling and walls if you want when the steam is on your cabinets and ceiling you could always get a rag and some cleaning product and wash them down. Your cabinets and ceiling would have to be in steady steam before they would start falling apart, just wipe the wetness off after you cook you'll be fine. Good luck
