I have an HD TV and I have digital cable hooked up through standard AV cords. I am receiving interference.?
I have an antenna hooked up to receive my locals in HD via standard cable, and a Digital Cable box from Charter hooked up through standard av cords. When I watch the Digital cable i receive what looks like interference. There is a whitish horizontal line scrolling vertically on the screen. Its not real noticeable on channels with lighter colors but watching a darker show or movie the line is there noticeably. When I watch the antenna or play 360 the line is not there so I know its not t. the TV. Is there a way to fix this?

I would recomend that you use S-Video to recieve standard Digital broadcast. The line goint through your screen is a result of the Composite cable being too close to Coaxial cable. Untangle the cables and run them seperatly (Coaxial and Composite). As you probably know S-Video will give natural colours and a superb picture compared to Composite. The S-Video carries Black and white colours seperatley from other colours. Since S-Video cables are better shielded like the coaxial cables there will be no interfearence on the tv screen. Remember it you use S-Video you still have to use L and R jacks for the audio(you can use the current audio cable if you wish). Before buying S-video cable make sure your tv has got S-video input and your cable box has got S-video output. And Yes with the antena you are getting HD if its being broadcasted in 720p or 1080i. Anything below is just standard digital (480i or 480p).
