Got shocked and stuck to 115v wires for about 10 seconds any internal damage ?? or worries?
im an electricians helper today i was helping connect some 115v smoke alarms when we sent the other electrician to shut down the breakers which he did. when i started stripping the wire i held the metal flexiable cable and the wire stripper cutter (not by the protected handle a bit touching the stippers metal nose a bit) and i got shocked an man my muscles made me lock my hands on to the flex cable i was stuck on that for about 10 or a bit longer seconds till the electrician noticed and he was able to kick me off the wires hey it hurt like crazy i am ok but i feel some muscles like kind of tight an bothering a bit i cant see any thing out of norm just the slight muscle pain.. and yes i know im ok cause im writing this just curious thanks ...
by the way the reason the wires was live was because there was an extension cord from the first floor breaker box feeding part of the second floor by my luck it was the one i was working on
It sounds like you and I are in the same boat. If we didn't have any bad luck we wouldn't have any luck at all. LOL. I am sure you will be all right. Your muscles are sore because when you got zapped they tightened up on you. Even the ones that you don't use all of the time. They will probably be sore for a couple of days. Keep moving them because if you don't they will probably get stiff on you and that will make them hurt a whole lot worse then what they are now.
