I have a circuit breaker that oozes black residue, what is?
I just moved into an old house and tried to empty the second floor when switch tripped. OK ... went to the basement and restore it. He tried to empty again, stumbled again. When you restart the second time, I realized the black sludge that comes out of that switch. 1) What is the exudate 2) Do I have to do anything to replace the switch?
You have to throw the switch speed .. There is nothing in a circuit breaker to drain. he has recorded and has melted .. Watch for the fire .. do not use the switch and .. Replace immediately .. I Square D switches you are about to have a fire if any further. Check with an electrician may be necessary to use a larger circuit breaker for keep the electricity that you wish to use it.
