How does a swap color of flash work?
Visual movie elements are either simple shapes or can be objects. To break apart a graphic, select it on the stage and choose Modify or Break Apart. Every simple shape that is created using Flash’s drawing tools comprises of a stroke, a fill, or a combination of both. The flash drawing toolbar has 2 color controls. Three color buttons also show up
- Black & White to adjust the colors to black & white
- No Color chooses null color for a stroke or a fill
- Swap Colors option swaps between the fill and stroke colors

Steps needed to follow while using swap color of flash
- After selecting Effects down arrow > Color Substitution > Color Substitution, the Color Substitution task pane appears
- Use the Old Color tool to select the color to be replaced
- Use the New Color tool to select the desired color
- In Color accuracy, specify the range of colors and select the default value of 100% to use the exact color identified
- Enable the Swap colors option.
- When the desired Effect is achieved, click Close and then, Capture.
