How do I add a subwoofer and an amp to my current amp and four speakers?
I currently have a Kenwood head unit along with front infinity 4x6 speakers, rear infinity 6x9 speakers, and a four channel amplifier powering everything. The problem is there is so much clarity to infinity speakers, that you have very little bass. I think I want to add a mono channel infinity amplifier, and a 12 inch infinity subwoofer. How difficult is this going to be?
Not very. Use adequate power/ground wires for the sub amp. Run a small wire from the remote turn-on terminal from the 4channel amp to the sub amp. Run RCA's from the 4channel amps' RCA outputs to the sub amps' RCA inputs.
Have Fun!
