More circuit breaker help?
Okay, so I posted ealier about this but essentially, the Cutler-Hammer BD1515 that I purchased to replace an old Bryant BD1515 does't want to fit into my panel. The two breakers appear identical but closer examination shows that the metal pins on the back of the breaker are a bit farther back on the old breaker and it feels like the pins on the new one are what is keeping the breaker from sliding in all the way. Any suggestions? I know that sometime replacements are not always exactly like the original but I can't imagine that this is the first time this problem has come up. What am I missing here? Is there another type of breaker for this application? FWIW the box is a Westinghouse.
From your description, the breakers you procured are not the right dimension. You need the proper dimension ones.
