I need help on how to install a bridge rectifier diode? Please Help!?
I am going to connect a bridge rectifier to a generator (stepper motor) and then to a battery to charge it.
I got a NTE5305 silicon bridge rectifier from Fry's electronics. Now my question is I don't know how to connect (wire) it. All there is is a sqwiggly line on top of the rectifier diode and 2 leads are labeled + and - then two other leads are labeled AC. I do't know which way the electricity should flow? PLEASE HELP

The squiggly line represents the AC input. You connect your generator to those 2 wires. The + and - is the output (positive and negative.) Connect the + to the battery positive terminal and the - to the negative terminal.
Watch the current and battery heating so you don't damage the battery. Not all batteries can be recharged. Some will explode from gas production during the charging.
