Need help Sub keeds clipping?

Ok i know how tune my amp with a 50hz cd and DMM(digital multi meter). But i tuned it but then i set my audio setting on my radio (pioneer deh-p6000ub) and it starts to clip then i re-tuned the amp with my head unit settings how i like them and it still is clipping and it only does it once in a while...This just started happening after i bought my new head unit....I had the same sub and amp before but once i got that radio it started clipping......i have a mtx x thunder 600xd and a alpine type r, the dual 4ohm one....Ohh and i had a kenwood radio before.

It is most likely due to your new head unit having a higher preout voltage. When you get a new radio you need to re-tune the gain on your amp.

If you simply turn down the gain on your amp the problem should go away. If that doesn't work you should turn down the bass settings on your head unit. Features such as loudness or bass boost could cause this problem.

Good Luck!!!
