Excel - How to counter the circular reference of a double record in a row?
IF(COUNTIF(Ro01Farm!$F:$F;Ro01Worksheet! $F2)>1;0;Ro01Feed!A2)
I was trying to only receive on result -> if there was already a record present in Farm F:F then the next row should be 0 but i receive a circ ref.. Any suggestions? (If possible no "Single Record" Filtering)
the problem is you are using the Entire column F:F
if you are copying this formula in Ro01Farm column F (lets call it cell F2) and you want to fill the formula down...then you just need to check if there is a duplicate in any cell above. as long as you use this formula going down, then you shouldnt have to worry about a duplicate occuring anywhere below (other then those obvious duplicate zero cells)
=IF(COUNTIF(Ro01Farm!$F$1:$F1; Ro01Worksheet!$F2)>1;0;Ro01Feed!A2)
so as you fill down to cell F3
Ro01Farm!$F$1:$F1 will change to Ro01Farm!$F$1:$F2
so its checking everything above it.
