Installing LED light strips to amp?
I am planning on getting 2 LED strips.
I want to know whether to connect them:-
1. in series with the sub
2. to the output terminals of the amp (where sub is wired)
3. to the 12V input and ground on the amp
The amp is rated at 500 watt rms (4ohm) (Mono with 2 channels).
Subwoofer is rated at 400 watt rms (4ohm).
I would like the lights to flash when the bass kicks in (option 1 and 2), but I don't know if the lights would blow with the high power.
Any suggestions?
yes the led won't blow up no matter what. and yes just put them to the output terminals of the amp (where sub is wired) which is number 2 .
It will flash when the bass kicks..
