inductive proximity switch schematic?
i m looking for a schematic for an inductive proximity switch. does anybody know where i can find one? i am trying to build one

Or, you could just roll your own with a self-tuning inductive pickup loop and a 4046 PLL (setup as as a phase detector. The PLL's VCO will also be used to self-tune the inductive pickup loop). This is an application commonly applied in various traffic detectors. You would just scale the approach to what it is that you you want to detect.
