SLI Gigabyte 1gb cards?
Urrm... i was wondering if it were possible to have SLI Gigabyte 1gb Graphics Cards on the computer, these are my specs:
AMD Athlon X2 6000+
4gb Crucial RAM
500gb Samsung Spinpoint
450w power supply
4 fans
i was wondering how much power i would need aswell.

Does your motherboard have 2 PCIe 16/2.0 ports? If yes then you will be fine. The 450w supply is plenty as far as wattage, but you must make sure you have enough amperage supplied to the video cards. Each one taking a minimum of around 24 amps. So you will need either 2 24+amp 12v rails or I have 48 amps running down one 12v rail. I am running 2 Radeon 3870HDs with a 6600 quad..4 gigs ram..and so on. My PSU is 450w and I run fine overclocked to 3.1 Ghz at that. Just watch your amperage. That is the most important or you WILL crash.

Minimum of a 400 Watt power supply.
(Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 26 Amp Amps.)
Minimum 450 Watt for SLI mode system.
