Powakadday Show off New Golf Trolley
The lead brand in electric golf trolleys, Powakaddy, has announced details of their newest state of the art electric golf trolley, the Powakaddy Freeway II. Targeted for an April 2009 release, the new Freeway 2 is a golfers dream.
This new Freeway 2, which replaced the best selling Freeway golf trolley, is designed for any type of terrain, with quick release front wheels you can adapt the wheels on course or even add the additional wide wheels for hilly courses, aswell as this, the new PowaKaddy Freeway 2 has a new sleek design, ultra quiet motor, and a huge range of new features.
The best bits of the trolley is the technology, it features a soft touch grip, multi functional control pad and LCD screen. The multi functional LCD screen features a Distance Measuring Facility which can calculate how far the ball has been hit and the total distance travelled in the round.
The LCD screen also features a Digital Distance Function which allows the golfer to set the trolley to continue moving forward for 10, 20 or 30 meters before stopping.
Aswell as those features, the LCD scrren can also display current travelling speec, time and remaining battery power.
As for the battery, the Freeway 2 features an ultra lightweight lithium battery which is around 75% lighter than a traditional acid battery. You can also choose to have a 18 or 36 hole traditional lead acid battery. All of the great batteries are placed onto the ultra lightweight aluminium france which can be packed and folded away effortlessly.
It really does seem that PowaKaddy are the lead brand in making electric golf trolleys and it seems that they will be attracting some attention from their rival golf trolley manufacturers, however, while the competitors try and think up a better idea, the new PowaKaddy golf trolley is set for release in April 2009 and will cost around £650. Also, all these trolleys come with a 2 year warrenty, so you will keep peace of mind when buying one of these.
