Can I use a motorbike/ATV lead acid battery on a 24v scooter motor?
I need to buy a battery for my homemade electric scooter that has a 24 volt motor. I was going to buy 2 12v sealed lead acid battery but i could turn out cheaper to get a motorbike/scooter/atv battry...will this be too powerful for a 24 volt motor?
as long you don't go over the limit of motor ratings, it is ok. In this case 24v maximum, I assume it is DC motor. Two 12V batteries in series will be ok too.
