Brightest LED bulb possible on two 3V cell batteries?

I want to find the brightest LED bulb possible (white) that would operate on two 3V cell batteries.

Angle of light would be as wide as possible.

Can anyone provide the, spec, part names(if there is universal name), and maybe even where I can purchase it.

I'm under the impression for LED lights similar to the keychain LEDs, there's no need to control the voltage.

I'm looking for brightest LED bulb possible on two 3V cell batteries.

It's not simply a matter of connecting an l.e.d. to a battery.

You MUST include a series resistor to limit the current to the l.e.d's maximum value.
