As a previous user of the Nikon D3000, the predecessor to the D3100, I was amazed not merely by the features, and also from the price of this innovative digicam.

I have been a hobby photographer for more than 40 years. My 1st Nikon was a 6MP Coolpix that I still own and love to use. My brother bought a D5000 back in this spring and I had used some good pictures by using it on my 1st try but observed the purchase price a bit more as compared with I wanted to spend. And so I'd read that this D3100 was coming out in the near future and my partner and I waited to find out Nikon D3100 reviews. This SLR is definitely everything and more that it was described to be. Within less than 10 minutes I was able to have vibrant colour, detailed pictures , easily. My partner and I used only the 18-55mm VR zoom lens that is included with the VR KIT-BE SURE THAT YOU'RE GETTING THE VR. While I think it would be nice that the laptop cable connection was included it was not a factor since I just plug the SDHC card in my own card reader and download my personal pictures, JPEG files and used Picture It in order to preview.
The camera is actually so light-weight, shutter speed is excellent which enable it to rapid fire within those motion shots that you like. I'd like to add a new telephoto plus a macro lens to my case and perhaps a several filters however I feel that this digital camera shall be by my side for several years. It's the type of digital camera that will takes everyone on the learning process of using a digital SLR that many getting their own First SLR will certainly enjoy very much because the Guide or your on screen help can show you all that is required.
