why is my new aquarium light flickering?
Hi i have a 4ft t8 sunlight tube bulb in a DIY light setup, professionally wired by an electrician. It was wired about 5 weeks ago and the tube is only 6 weeks old (i bought the tube a week before). Anyway these days , the light starts to flicker after 20 minutes of being on. I check the starter but the batten does not have one, what else could be wrong, unless the tube is a dud. could someone help me please ?
Does it do this everytime after 20 mins. If so then its probably to do with the tube heating up and getting to a certain temperature and not working correctly. If the tube is a dud then eventually it wont fire up it will just keep trying to start. Good luck.
