125vac SPDT rocker switch suitable for 12vdc applications?
It seems like there are such few DC SPDT switches out there, and a ton of AC SPDT switches. Most of the ac switches are rated 125ac, can I use this for a 12v dc switch in my automobile? The amp rating is quite low, probably ~2 amps (it's for lights inside the car.)
I know you should not use ac switches for dc applications because of arc'ing, but I also hear that I could get away with it since it's only 12v. Some sites even state that it is ok for 12v dc use. Is this true or will I run into issues?

a switch is just a switch, it doesn't matter if it is an ac or dc voltage (but dc does cause more arcing). 125vac is just the voltage rating of the switch. As said above, you need to worry about the current that will be passed through the switch. Look on the switch it should also give you a current rating... Most small switches that you find at checker/napa/ect are rated for 1amp.
