Im using the ovulation test strips. there is a dark line b4 it gets pale on the test line is this normal?
My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant and I don't have regular periods so I bought a box of ovulation test strips. Each morning as far as I can tell it has been negative. The control line is always darker than the test line but the test line has a dark line at the beginning and then gets lighter. Is this normal?
Yes, for a positive ovulation both lines need to be the same color. 1 dark & 1 light is a negative result. Get a clear blue easy fertility monitor a lil pricey but very accurate to the exact week of ovulation. You can buy a used monitor off ebay & then all you have to do is buy the test strips that last 3 months at like $30 a box from amazon or ebay. I also been trying for a baby several years & i wouldn't use any different. Good luck & sticky baby dust 2the both of us.
