Where can I find this item?
When I grow up I'd like to own five Papillons. They're my favorite dog breed ever, and cute to boot, so I'd like to have a bunch.
Now then. I know that being able to walk five dogs around at once is a very impressive thing, and fun too. However, I also realize that five leashes would get tangled up in minutes if I attempted such a thing. I've been searching online for multiple dog leash couplers, but so far the only ones I've found have been for two dogs, or maybe three. And they are all very heavy duty, like only big dogs are owned and walked in large quantities!
So my question is, where can I find a five-dog leash coupler for smaller dogs. Thanks! I appreciate this so much and will be choosing best answer based on experience, explanations, and links provided.
If you stop and think about the space allowed for each dog when walking on a leash, three is the max for them to not stumble over each other, therefore it is not logical to force them to walk ontop of each other with 5 connected. On the other hand if you insist on walking 5 on one side of you (not recommended) use a oval shaped quick link that has a nut on one side to close the gap thus is then able to connect one of the 2 leash coupler and a 3 leash coupler and then there you have 5 connections for 5 dogs. The quick links can be found at any hardware store, walmart, home depot etc. they make them very small 1/8 '' or smaller and larger.
I think the size of dog supplies carry is averaged on the area which you live perhaps there is a larger number of persons with large dogs near you. I have opposite here by the beach every one has lil toy dogs and i can never find items for very large dogs.
