- The best idea would be to visit a dietician and get a personalised liquid diet made for your body type. Randomly messing up with your body might cause serious damage to your health. Such damage could be quite irreparable.

- You can consume fruit juices that are not pulpy, for example, apple juice, orange juice etc, lemonades, soups like chicken broth etc, decaffeinated tea, coffee etc. These are a few examples that you are allowed to drink during the liquid diet period.
- Vegetable juices can also be consumed during as a part of liquid diet. Avoid mixing more than two vegetables in the drink because the resultant taste might be too overpowering to be considered palatable.
- A good advice is to not prolong this kind of a diet for too long. Human body needs a balanced diet and depriving the body of its regular requirement of nourishment for too long eventually results in lethargy and weakness.
- Drink lots of water. Dehydration leads to hunger which eventually makes you munch on solids and the diet gets terminated midway. Research has shown that drinking cold water takes longer to digest, so try drinking warm water. Not only will it help you to lose the kilos, it will also flush the toxins from your kidneys.
- Buttermilk is an effective drink to be included in your liquid diet plan. It is rich in calcium, potassium, phosphorous and other essential minerals. You can garnish it with mint leaves and cumin seeds to suit your taste buds.
- Also drinking coconut water can help a lot since it is rich in minerals and cools your body. It is known to carry nutrients to the cells and energise the body.

- 1 Orange
- 1 Carrot
- 1 Fresh egg
Method
- Crack the egg and blend it with orange and carrot in a mixer for 2 minutes.
- Consume immediately.

- 2 Tomatoes
- 1 Chopped Cabbage
- 4 Sliced Carrots
- 2 Green Peppers
- 2 Chopped Onions
- ½ cup Vinegar
- 6 Glasses of Water
- Salt to Taste
- Black Pepper to Taste
Method
- Add all the vegetables, i.e. tomatoes, chopped cabbages, sliced carrots, green pepper, to a pan and sauté in a light flame.
- Once the vegetables are cooked and tender, add vinegar.
- Next, add the water.
- Add salt and black pepper to this concoction.
- Let it cook for an hour, then strain the liquid and serve it hot.
