12v wires adapters for cigarette?
is there such an invention where you can connect a 12v light wire (red) into an adapter that turns into a cigarette adapter....i know they have something called add-a-circut..just want to know rather than a fuse, you can put that into a cigarette socket...

so think of that add-a-circut, but rather than plugging into a fuse box, a cigarette lighter
its because i dont want anything permanent, such as cutting into the 12v wires and splicing the ends .what not
You can splice into the cigarette lighter wires with no problems or just get a cigarette adapter plug and splice those wires. You can use the 12v for about anything but the only thing to be concerned about is how much current you need to draw. Your lighter may be fused for 10, 15, 20 or whatever amps and your added circuit should not draw more than this. Worst case though it will only blow a fuse. I guess I'm trying to understand your question... you could still splice into the cigarette wires under the paneling for a circuit and keep the lighter in working fashion, or like the link you provided you could splice into the 12v supply through the fuse block - I've got a circuit spliced into the fuse block just by wrapping a wire around one fuse spade terminal and jamming it back in there and grounding to bare metal under my seat. This isn't pretty but basically the same as using an add-a-circuit, which patches into the fuse block as well.
