What type of lock do I need?

Got a small diy project where I have a small enclosure outside with a door that needs to be lockable. Ideally should unlock without the use of a key (because keys always get lost) some kind of combination lock. I would also like it to lock itself automatically when you shut the door as opposed to having to remember to lock it every time. Is there a type of lock that will acheive this inexpensively?
