Molded or basic case?
I'm trying to decide which case would be better.

Or a basic case like this: http://images.miretail.com/products/optionLarge/MusiciansGear/278246jpg.jpg
Which will safely hold a Standard Fender Telecaster and not let it bang around inside?
Molded will be safer because it fits your guitar like a glove. IE less moving around inside the case.
A one size fit all case is more versatile though, if you ever get another guitar you could use the same case
