Can you attach a multimeter to a computer to record data?
I am looking for a way to attach a multimeter to a computer so that I can get a graph of the readouts
I am doing a science fair project on wind turbines and I was hoping there was some way to record they electricity being put out when we test
any suggestions ??
Some meters you can, like the Fluke one here:

But general cheap multimeters dont usually have computer connection, it usually involves some form of opto-isolation so you dont kill yourself when you test mains voltages and there is short to your computer.
Some chinese multimeters can but it depends what you have access to. Also if you can get access to a data logger through your institution these will do the job too.
