Mother Homer - Homer bids farewell to his long-lost "supposedly dead" Mother, Mona whom he will not see ever again as she is on the run from the law and ends with Homer sitting on the hood of his car, staring at the moonlit sky, as time passes by.
Jurassic Bark - Fry decides not to clone his old dog thinking that the dog lived 9 more years after he was cryogenically frozen and in a flashback shows that Seymour the dog actually waited for Fry outside of Panucci's Pizza as time passes by until Seymour's demise.
*both episodes had very depressing music at the end which made which brought about a lot more serious and dramatic tone considering both Matt Groening's shows are comedic in nature.*
