why cant wont my lawnmower allow me to pull cord to start it?
I just bought the lawnmower today, i did the little patch of lawn in front of my house & started to mow the back lawn, then it just slowly faded & died. when I try to start it the cord wont pull it seem locked. I am not technically inclined, did I break it? Is it something small?? I just paid $200 for the mower.
i did read the instructions.. my father actually helped me assemble the lawnmower, he put the oil in and the gas. it doesnt have any type of switch on handles just the motor release. My father checked underneath the blades & they turn not clogged with grass.
Two things can casue this.
1. You ran it without oil and your engine is locked up.
2. Your release handle is allowing the brake pad to cut your engine off.
I would take it back since it is new and tell them you want another one. Make sure you have oil in it....lol
