Single-Multi LED replacement in PC mod - amplifier needed?
I'm planning not so much a case mod as a case build. I am considering the use of multiple LEDs in place of the single power LED, five or so of them.
Obviously this will require more power than usually flows through the PC's power LED, so will I need/be able to amplify that power?
Can I use a transistor amplifier?
I've never tried to do this before, so I'm a little uncertain. How can I draw the extra power?
LEDs will not require any more power just connect them in SERIES like ----- the end of one is at the beginning of another
and also make sure you connect the right poles of the LEDs (in case you don't know LEDs are light emitting diodes which lights with just passing power in the right direction and has very very low power consumption )
