How do you feel about Peyton Manning winning?
I think Peyton Manning deserved to win it. I also think Philip Rivers, Drew Brees and Brett Favre were just as deserving. I actually feel like Philip Rivers was snubbed simply because the Colts had the possibility of going undefeated. Take away that fluke win over the Pats and Raves, Philip would've had more consideration.
And don't come on here calling me a hater, because the way you guys hate on Tom Brady and Co. you really have no room to speak.
I don't think Manning had any business winning the award. Statistically he was not even in the top five at his position. He averaged an interception each game he played, and he played very little the last two games. So, in reality he threw 16 picks in 14 games. That's not excellence. He needed to crack 40 TD's to off-set 16 picks over 14 games. Brees should've been MVP, or Favre. Brady is the QB of the decade, and it's not close. I'm very sick of both Mannings, and the medias obsession with trying to make them what they're not, which would be elite. But, that's the world we live in. At least we'll be able to say so long to the colts possibly after the Div round, definitley after the AFC title round. They have no shot to win the superbowl. Colts and Saints both had ridiculously soft schedules, and were both exposed at years end. Neither top seed makes miami. Outside looking in it looks like Chargers vs Vikings, a great superbowl. If colts make superbowl, Vikings roll them easily. Manning will throw at least 2 picks and get sacked at least 7 times. Mark it dude.
