What is the best documentation to learn ARM LPC2148?
I currently switched from AVR & PIC to ARM. I picked up LPC2148 as a starting point but I can't find any good documentation that describers ARM architecture & Assembly programming very well. As in the case of AVR & PIC th datasheet of particular controller is the ultimate guide even for beginners. In this case official documents or datasheet or user's guide can't describe ARM completely. I used few documents like, "Insider's guide to Philips ARM-7 Based Microcontrollers", "UM10139" & "LPC2148 Datasheet (just 40 pages)" but I can't find very well description as comparing to AVR & PIC Datasheet.
So, where can I find good document or book that describes ARM completely from Architecture to Programming?
Hi,
It depends on what kind of learning material you prefer. If you prefer the textbook style, there's an amazing book put together by William Hohl, called "ARM Assembly Language: Fundamentals and Techniques."
However, you could of course just read ARM's documentation. (You will probably want to use it at some point to complement Hohl's book anyway.)
