I got a new midi controller, but the response seems abnormally slow; any way to fix this?
It's an Axiom 25 and I use a Dell Inspiron 1501. I know that there's supposed to be a little bit of time to process and whatnot, but it seems a bit a too slow.
This lag is an issue with usb controllers... Is the lag in your audio software, or in the controller? Try using an ASIO driver instead of your standard sound card driver. This will help improve latency (lag)
Go here select keyboards/axiom25 and then your OS to update your drivers:

Then download and install this ASIO driver... (click on english)

I was using an O2, but I have now replaced it with a Korg, so Latency is much better now. Also, try to download some midi tools like midiyoke or the like. That might help a little bit.
