What are some push and pull factors of Russia?
I'm doing a human geography project and I need push and pull factors of Russia .
In case you don't know what push and pull factors are ;
Push Factors - Conditions that drives you to leave (migrate)
Pull Factors - Conditions that attract you to that area
Push factors:
1. Pandemic corruption
2. Rampant crime
3. Police who are part of the crime problem, not the solution
4. Rotting infrastructure
5. Alcoholism beyond pandemic
6. A "Machismo" in Russian men far worse than that of Latinos
7. Women treated as 2nd class citizens - at best.
8. More abortions than live births.
9. Birth rate far below viability
10. Unstable economy and currency
11. Poor job opportunities
12. Little or no work ethic
13. A military that treats its recruits like fraternity pledges
14. A military with equipment and infrastructure in advanced decay
15. A military selling its assets to the black market - for a pittance.
16. An inferiority complex even larger than the vast expanse of Siberia
17. A country poisoned by a century of criminal pollution of all kinds
18. An ultra-nationalist movement that threatens to be the reincarnation of the Sturmabteilung - right down to their total moral bankruptcy. They could be anywhere - even in Y!A.

It's a real pity, because almost all the people are good, decent, friendly, honorable, and very likable people. I am honored to have so many of them as friends - from a grade-school girl to a retired senior officer of the soviet navy with 35 years of service to the Rodina.
