wiring a push button and toggle switch?
i got a push button and toggle switch i m wanting to wire it to my sbc has a black wire coming off one side of the toggle switch then on the other side of toggle switch their is a wire that lead to pushbutton and a green wire one the opposite side of push button wire from toggle switch is ran from is a red wire my question is black wire from one side of toggle go to battery then the green wire goes to distrbutor red wire runs to starter if any one has a diagram i could really appriacater it
I'm a little confused, but I think you want to replace a traditional key switch with a simple toggle switch and push putton.
Colors of wires don't matter, so I'll describe it.
One wire goes from the positive terminal of the batter to one side of the toggle.
The opposite side of the toggle should have 2 wires. One should go to the coil (distributor), and the other to one side of the push button.
The other side of the push button should go to the starter.
