6 volt positive voltage regulator ?
I've looked all over the internet for my bf (I have high speed)...Does anyone know what the "point clearance" is for a 6 volt, positive ground voltage regulator ?
Help ?
I do not recall setting the point gap on a voltage regulator, for either 6 or 12 volt cars, what we did have to do, was 'flash' between the generator and the regulator to set them to work together. I got to tell you, I haven't driven or worked on one of those since the 60's, I don't recall how to do it. But, I do know, I did not set a gap.
Sorry I could not be much help on this, but I just don't remember it has been a few days ago.
