Where exactly is the resistor pack/block located for the blower motor on a 99 F150?
Replaced the heater core on our 99 F-150 - now the blower motor it totally dead. I've rigged in some wiring to get the motor to work on high. I must of left something disconnected when I re-assembled the dash, anyone have any ideas??? My guess is that I've left a plug undone that goes to the resistor pack/block, but I can't find that darn thing - can someone point me in the right direction?
Fuses/Relays are all good. No wiring under the hood was messed with when the heater core was changed (now that I think about it, there could of been a connector near the heater core tubes in the engine bay that was accidentally unhooked while disconnecting the heater core - I'll have a look in that area again).
Appreciate the response Slivers - hopefully with your description of the connector I can track that rascal down.
The resister is located very near the discharge of the fan itself. The connector should be three wires arranged in a "U" type formation. I don't remember if it is accessed from under the dash or the hood. Don't forget to check your fuse first, and also your relays on the fuse panel.
