100 Power RGB LED?
Im am currently doing a project where I need 100 or 50 (depending on the available power) to work from 1 controller. Is this controller has enough energy to power 100 RGB LEDs. 2 amps per 100 LEDs required. So you could safely put 100 on each channel, or even 150 per channel, as this is 3 amps x 2 = 6 amps total. design considerations: Make sure the LED that you choose are rated for at least 14V each at 20 yards. Why? Safety factor. PS For any PS that has the current capacity and voltage for the driver 8A @ 12V work. Lord, who is very current! The offer you choose has to meet the entry requirements of the driver. Anyway, so you want a ps to provide at least 10A @ whatever the input voltage controller is, for the safety factor. One never wants to boost the supply to the limit. You have to have something extra in the losses and temperature variations.
