Xbox wireless adapter problem?
I have had the Xbox wireless adapter for about a year now. I have always kept it in my room, directly 1 story above my wireless router on my computer. I recently bought a 42" plasma screen T.V.. I put it in my basement for an entertainment center type of thing. So, obviously, I am going to want to set up my Xbox on this T.V., and it has been working generally okay down there. There was a little bit of a lagging issue, and I would occasionally get disconnected from Xbox Live. I had never had this problem when my Xbox was in my room. I had simply assumed that it was the cement ceiling and flooring from my basement. But for Christmas a few days ago, my sister got a Wii.. She had set it up to the Wi-Fi in our basement and it works perfectly with no flaw. So now I am curious if there is some reason my Xbox adapter isn't working properly. Any info will help. It is probably the combination of a weaker WiFi signal and your sister's Wii. I recommend going with powerline.
