how does pnp sensor work?
If you are refering to pnp for computer hardware, each manufacturer embeds a vendor and product ID within their hardwares firmware. The OS on your computer queries this info and then searches for the appropriate driver listed for the vendor ID's. This of course means that manufacturers work with OS developers to have their product drivers included with the OS. If a product comes out after the OS does, then the manufactur supplies an install disk that has the necessary driver to run your new hardware.
