biquad pigtail question?
Hello I am having problem buying a pigtail for my biquad.
I see a Lmr 200 which is 8.5 meters
There is also Lmr 400 which is 5m and one with 25 foot
Whats the differences in frequency?
Why is is shorter better?
Why is bigger diameter On the cable better?
Building a biquad dish need as long as possible but i heard shorter is better. Also i don't know which one to buy Lmr 200 Or Lmr 400?
Both are RP-SMA with N Male
LMR 200 8.5m- 24$
LMR 400 5m- 16$
LMR 400 (25 foot) - 29$
LMR400 has less loss, meaning a stronger signal overall in both directions. However, over 25 feet or so, it won't make that much difference (about 3-4dB). However, if the signal is marginal, the LMR400 will help...
LMR200 is actually LMR195, renamed by some vendors...
