How Quantum Mechanics explains Remote Viewing
Remote viewing in the simplest terms means using specific methods that allow extrasensory perception (ESP). Through ESP a remote viewer can perceive a target, a person or an object that is located remotely in space. Remote Viewing has been used to find missing objects, people and predict future events. One may wonder... how is this happening? And it’s nature has lots to do with Quantum Mechanics...Yet the essence of consciousness and its place in the universe remain a mystery.
What Quantum Mechanics (QM) and Remote Viewing (RV) have in common is that they both involve entanglement- where in QM it refers to particle entanglement and in RV to consciousness entanglement.
- “Quantum Mechanics deals with particles such as electrons and photons, that are nothing else but particles of light. What Particle entanglement means is that local measurements by an experimenter on a particle will in an instant interact with an entangled particle - regardless how far apart the particles are. Even Einstein's famous insight that mass cannot travel faster than the speed of light (this is the "local" environment) does not include any information about entangled particles...
- Remote Viewing revolves around target information processed by human consciousness such as sights, sounds, smells, feelings, tastes and concepts. Consciousness entanglement means nothing more than that an intention set by a viewer on target information will interact with entangled target information right away - no matter how far apart the viewer and target are. Information from entangled consciousness seems to be available all the time.
Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy states:
"Quantum entanglement is a physical resource, like energy, associated with the peculiar nonclassical correlations that are possible between separated quantum systems. Entanglement can be measured, transformed, and purified. A pair of quantum systems in an entangled state can be used as a quantum information channel to perform computational and cryptographic tasks that are impossible for classical systems."
Lots of researches have to be conducted to prove the entanglement in Quantum Mechanics, but the experiments in Remote Viewing seem to be giving lots of evidence for the idea to be true!
