Top Tips From Abate Pest Control In Norwich

1. Keep your house clean!
As a general rule of thumb, a cleaner house is less likely to attract nasties. If you spill food or sugary drinks, make sure you wipe them up straight away. Also, take your bin out regularly so that there is less waste inside your house.

This is applicable for all foods and drinks but especially those with a high sugar content. Wasps love fizzy drinks and foods like jams and sweets. By keeping them in sealed containers, the smell won't be able to attract pests as much.
3. Get rid of damp
If you have areas in your house that sometimes get damp marks on the wall or have standing water, get someone in to assess the problem and see what can be done. Damp can cause mould which is a great environment for some insects.
4. Block holes and cracks
Pests will try and find any way into your house that they can. For larger pests such as mice and rats, make sure large routes into your house are blocked. If you do get an infestation, try and trace their passage into your house.
