Why the smoke detector still beeps after I replaced a new battery?
I have a five-year old smoke detector. After I replaced a new battery, it still beeps few times a day. The battery is good, 9V, and confirmed by a tester. What should I do now?

Recently built houses with direct connected smkoe alarms have all of the smoke alarms wired together, so they all beep if one has a bad battery. Check the battery back up in the other smoke dectors in your house.
