What parts would I need to build this flashlight?

I need help finding the size of the resistor, the type of switch and what's the squiggly line thing on the top right of the schematic, and what parts would I need for it? (Sorry, I am an eighth grader who has to build this for science... So excuse me for the poor knowledge)
The resistor values given are in ohms. You'll also need a wattage for them. I recommend 1/4 watt. These are standard values.
The two transistors are labelled, 2N3904, and 2N3906. These are popular, and easy enough to find as well.
Two "C" size batteries are straightforward. I recommend a battery holder for them though.
Use whatever switch you like, and whatever LED you like too.
The two vertical lines above 2N3904 represent a capacitor. The top right "squiggle" is called an "inductor" or coil.
Without analyzing the whole circuit, my guess is that the capacitor and inductor work together to do one of two things: flash, or stay on once the battery is switch off. Depending on the speed of the flash, or the length of time you want them to stay on, will determine what value to choose.
For an approximation, I'd start with C = 1 uF (1 micro farad)
Your experiment might be to try a few different values for L (the inductor, also called a "coil"). Choose them in multiples of 10. 1 milli Henry (mH), 10 mH, 100 mH, etc.
